Dark Star Orchestra at FTL War Memorial Auditorium: Frequently Asked Questions
When is Dark Star Orchestra performing at FTL War Memorial Auditorium?
Dark Star Orchestra is scheduled to perform in Fort Lauderdale on December 3 and December 4, 2026. Check your selected date and event details before completing your purchase, as ticket availability may differ between performances.
What kind of concert is Dark Star Orchestra?
Dark Star Orchestra recreates complete historical Grateful Dead setlists rather than performing a standard greatest-hits show. The band researches a specific past performance and typically reveals which show inspired the set after playing it. Expect a two-set concert with an encore, extended improvisation and psychedelic stage visuals.
How long does a Dark Star Orchestra concert usually last?
Dark Star Orchestra performances typically run about three to four hours, including two full sets, an intermission and an encore. Actual timings can vary, so plan for a longer concert evening and check the event listing for any confirmed door or start times.
What songs might Dark Star Orchestra play?
The setlist changes from show to show because the band recreates a different Grateful Dead performance. Recent repertoire has included ?Dark Star,? ?Bird Song,? ?China Cat Sunflower,? ?Franklin's Tower,? ?Deal? and ?Box of Rain,? but no specific song is guaranteed for either Fort Lauderdale date.
Are there opening acts for these performances?
No opening act has been confirmed in the event information provided. Dark Star Orchestra's own performance typically features two sets and an encore; check the listing closer to the show for any updates to the schedule or supporting acts.
How much do Dark Star Orchestra tickets cost?
Prices currently start around $40, with available seats and listings potentially reaching approximately $150 or more. Ticket prices can change with demand, availability, seat location and the selected performance date. Review the total price, including any applicable fees, before checkout.
What should I know about seating at FTL War Memorial Auditorium?
FTL War Memorial Auditorium is an indoor Fort Lauderdale venue, but the available seating arrangement can depend on the event configuration. Check the seating map shown with your selected tickets to confirm the section and seat details. For a clear view, compare seats positioned toward the center of the stage; seats at the far sides or behind obstructions, if offered, may provide a less direct view.
Where can I park for FTL War Memorial Auditorium?
Parking availability, pricing and access can vary by event. Check the venue's current parking guidance and arrive early to allow time to park and enter, particularly if you are driving for a popular concert. Do not assume that a particular lot is included with your ticket; confirm parking terms before leaving for the venue.
Are there public transportation options in Fort Lauderdale?
Local bus service and rideshare may be options for reaching the auditorium, depending on your starting point and the event schedule. Check current routes and service times before traveling, as late-night transit availability can be limited. If using rideshare, arrange a pickup location that follows venue and local traffic directions.
What are the bag and entry policies?
Bag size limits, prohibited items and screening procedures are set by the venue and may change. Review FTL War Memorial Auditorium's latest entry rules before attending, and bring only essential items to help speed up screening. Ticket holders should also follow any event-specific instructions provided before the show.
Is Dark Star Orchestra appropriate for all ages?
Dark Star Orchestra's audience is multigenerational, and the supplied event information describes the band's shows as welcoming to all ages. The venue or event organizer may set a different age policy for a particular performance, so confirm the rule for your selected date before purchasing tickets for younger guests.
